NATTY LITTLE DRESSERS
Nipper, as its name suggests, caters for the very young. It sells delightful and original clothes —
fun yet functional — for babies and toddlers.
Local reaction has been so favourable that Nipper’s enterprising young owners Julia Scoging and Bernadette Felton have now decided to expand their business to include a mail order service.
This editorial helped launch the mail order.
PARENTS : June 1990
KIDS STUFF
By 1990, Nipper had grown into something much bigger than those early beginnings. This three-page feature captured not just the clothes, but the shop, the atmosphere and the world we had created.
Looking back, it feels like a moment of real recognition —a point where everything we had been building came together.
BRIGHTON EVENING ARGUS - BUSINESS PAGES 12th March 1996
The place for pint-sized fashion plates
Looking back now these pages capture
not just the clothes, but the spirit of Nipper - playful, practial and made to grow with the child.
